Monthly Unemployment Non-Story
The table and graph above lay out the most basic description of
US employment and unemployment for the last ten years.
What percentage of able-bodied Americans over the age of 16 have a job?
In October 2009 that stat hit a plateau at 58.5%, and it never bounced
up or down more than three tenths of one percent from then to now.
58.5% in October 2009
58.5% in November 2009
58.2% in December 2009
58.5% in January 2010
58.5% in February 2010
58.5% in March 2010
58.5% in March 2011
58.5% in March 2012
58.4% in April 2012
58.6% in May 2012
And that's the non-story of US employment and unemployment
month after month after month.
